Big Brother Naija or Not

There has been controversy recently as to whether or not big brother naija should continue to be aired and the Moral implications for society. Those who are for and against seem to hold strongly to their opinion. The show encourages standards that some people do not agree with morally especially some of its questionable scenes. In all, majority of its target audience don't seem to have a problem with it and watch with keen interest as the whole "drama" unfolds.

Make the Move

Sometimes in life we are faced with tough decisions to make. whether to move forward and fight or stay back in your comfort zone and lounge. Well its easy to do the latter. But will you be filfilling purpose? Make that move. Take that risk. Do what needs to be done. Success is not cheap. Make that leap of faith and watch as you rise and embrace that feeling of satisfaction and achievement.

The 21st Century Illiterate

In the words of Alvin Toffler, the illiterate of the 21st Century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.  In life if we must succeed we must learn to be dynamic; never stop learning. No knowledge is wasted. Mr Greg who is a Top Sales/Marketing manager in a Bank got a huge multi million Naira contract just because he knew the price of Garri in the market. Who told him? His wife!!!.Be open to learn new things no matter how irrelevant it may seem.

Naira Appreciates further

As of today the Nigerian Naira appreciated further and now goes for N317.50k  to the dollar. This spells good news for Nigerian Economy amidst all the bad we've been hearing lately.

Food for Thought

This just came to me and I thought I should share. I realized that many people don't see far in life for many reasons. if you don't think far you wont see far.what and how we think determines our perspective; how we see things. one person may look and see only obvious obstacles but another will look and see "hidden" opportunities. The difference between the two? Thinking.
Learn to see far.See Beyond today. Begin to reprogram yourself to think beyond today and into tomorrow. Ask yourself, This thing i'm about to do,will it benefit me tomorrow, the next day,in the future?
Think on that.

LISTEN!!!

Hey Guys!!! I trust your days going as great as mine. So today we will be talking about LISTENING. this is not Beyonce's Listen oh. This is Business.
Listen to your Customers. It is when you listen to them that you can constructively offer what they need. If you only offer what feels right to you or what feels to you like a great product or service without actually feeling the pulse of your customers, you will most likely run out of business. Your service needs to be tailored to fit and meet the needs of your potential and already existing customers.
When you conceive a product in your head, keep the customer in mind because you're not the one to buy/pay for your products, your customers are. If they don't buy, you don't have a business. A need is only a need when the customer recognizes it as one.
LISTEN to your customers!!!
Opportunities stare us in the face daily but we refuse to see them because we are not "listening". It is one thing to look but an entirely different thing To see. Business today has gone beyond business as usual as in the olden days. Business decisions are made with facts gathered on and around the customer . Ignore this and you're headed for doom.
LISTEN to your Customers. How can i do this, you ask?  Its simple .Ask Questions!!! ask the customer or potential customer what they want. Ask how good the service or product was. Ask the customer to rank the product. Ask them how they feel you can improve.Ask them what they their idea of the ideal product is ,relating to your line of business. Next, Ask the right Questions. Asking relevant questions is crucial. Conduct Surveys. Check Trends. Be Observant.
Have a great day lovelies.
