The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has warned applicants against
making payments to any person or group of persons for any reason whatsoever. The Nigerian immigration service Comptroller-General, Mr. Muhammad Babandede gave the warning recently in a statement signed by the service spokes person.
The NIS boss therefore advised applicants interested in the recruitment adverts to follow instructions as stated in the advertisements in the media and shun any monetary request from anybody.
I believe this includes immigration officers also.
